How is an idea born? For you, what is inspiration?

Whohub

I like to wach and see!:) I am courious person, interested in other creative people's work. Many times I gather inspirations from their works, other times I just find them in myself, in my ideas.

A blank piece of paper, a shoe i have designed in the past!

I am inspired by God's wonderful creations all around me in the outdoors most of all, and I try in some small way to imitate His beauty on paper. Innocence is something I regard very highly.

an old tune popping into my head...
a feeling that is relevant to me that week...

I am always giving birth to ideas. I have too many to execute !

Training, concentration and focus enables ideas to be made into physical reality.

We let ideas be born. When we have to do a job ideas are born. When we are in nature, when we are feeling good, open and receptive, when we are working with others, when we are playing, when we are having fun, when we ALLOW, ideas are born.....there's an unlimited source!
In more practical terms inspiration for me is a good film, nature, children and animals, a good book, a good play, good banter with friends, a visit to an art gallery, a dream, language, images.

I get my inspiration mostly from every day living and from awareness books like: "The Power of Now", "New Earth", By Eckhart Tolle, "The Secret", "Strong Winds From Nowhere", " The Alchimist", "Conversations With God" Etc. I meditate almost every day and get messages and ideas in my meditation which I transform into visuals.

' I am content, choosing to walk, all alone in darkness,
locating, building and carving my own path to walk on,
towards the universe of a floating volume of intense darkness,
hiding sparkles of light.

Sometimes, a sparkle of light comes out of that universe of floating darkness,
engulfs me and then leaves me rejuvenated,
to continue locating, building and carving my path, to walk on it,
in darkness towards the universe of floating volume of intense blackness,
hiding sparkles of light.

Simple, it's just came from everything i see, everything i read, everything i heard. It came from everything that surrounds me. Sometimes, it came from my own mind, my own fantasies. How i see things differently from other. It's limitless.

My inspiration can come from various places, from different artists on internet, my friends, tv, books, nature, photography,...

I took footstep from my father Mr.Shyam Krishan K.C.He had more than four decades experience in straw art field.Inspiration means Power to do something right.

My ideas and images come from my imagination. I let my imagination take over and it brings me to a place of calm where I lose track of time. My work focuses on the idea that everything in our universe is connected. Everything is in a relationship with everything else. This conviction is based on the fact that everything is made up of energy which is shown as glowing elements in my paintings.

I like to take shapes, lines, textures and colors to create a world from the imagination. Inspiration is everywhere – a red next to a blue, a line from a song, birds, gardens, dream scenes, a photo, a snippet of conversation. Painting wraps me in color and a language not heard but felt and seen.

An open lined image, an interesting texture, a delicious color, a special occasion, and the interplay of all these things usually set fire to an idea and thus a creation is born.

I like to surround myself with fairly well organised bits and bobs, and put pieces together until I feel happy with the design. Sometimes this comes really easily, often as soon as I find an interesting toy or piece of junk I already know what I will do with it, so I guess the inspiration comes from the components themselves. If designing isn't coming easily I leave it for a while, I have found with all areas of my life you can't force creativity!

Hearing old tales, legends, or snippets of history or ideas from the ancient world, sparks my imagination and fills my head with imagery. Sometimes it can be the smallest snippet, that creates the most detailed image.
