Inspiration is recognizing nature and interpreting that through art...

I get inspiration from things I see in everyday life like from a story I read to a picture in a magazine to how I am feeling at the moment.
They come from everything, all the time. Mostly it takes the form of words because images are more difficult to make notes about.
Of course a lot of it takes on darker themes but this is the stuff of entertainment, isn't it?
Mostly music, nature, discussions, movies, tv-shows and books. In other words, other creative works and the world itself.
An idea that is born randomly is sometimes the best of idea. But no idea is bad, some are just better than others. Its like life there is always someone better than you, and someone below you that's why we shouldn't forget to look up and down, not only up because if we only look up we will lose track of the where we are standing and we never should forget who we are, where we stand, who helped us, where we come from and where we are heading.
Life is inspiration for me. My family life growing up, things around me that I care about. I take walks in the mornings and I let my mind flow. A lot of ideas come to me then.
A novel or an everyday scene. I believe that there is a lot more than what we can see. I meditate to find out what it is and how it could be translated into form, using mainly geometry.
ideas are born from the 'UNIVERSAL MIND' one only needs to be open to receive.
My inspiration is nature, the organic forms and materials.
Nature and the sea.
inspiration comes from all around - from thinking, looking, reading. I have an imaginative mind which never rests.
Nature is the best inspiration for me. I get most of my ideas while walking through the park or taking a late night stroll under the stars. There are so many textures, colors, and shapes just right out your back door.
It's a mystery, I see a subject and think I would like to paint it. Everybody sees the same thing but I think I see something they don't. For example 10 artists paint the same scene but you get 10 different paintings. I think design is what makes the difference, balancing shapes, values and colors into an entertaining picture. Of course there are a lot of technical things to consider, soft edges, graying down colors, focal point, colors that go well with each other and so on.
Actually I find the resources for inspiration in almost everything and everywhere. First of all people around me and secondly faces from the photos, especially from old photo shoots. As I am a big movie admirer, I find interesting portraits also in film screens, books and so on and so on.
