Which is more important: meticulousness so as not to make mistakes or imagination to find innovative solutions?
A good combination of both meticulousness & imagination can give tremendous results..
At high level and early stage development imagination is more important but in the middle onwards of a project meticulousness is more important, especially when safety is involved.
really seems to be a hard one to decide because both are the phases for any solution or business administration .
but i think meticulousness is more important . i mean whatever i am doing it must be efficient enough .
In petroleum sector, meticulousness is extremely important. But imagination will always have a significant role to play.
Do not they give birth to Creativity?
Both
Innovation is life the flowing, and meticulousness is the death. But they need to live togheter, you need both of them for success
Imagination to innovative solutions which when measured rigorously overtime show practical results
If somebody doesn't do anything, he makes no mistakes. If you work, create, imagine, you will do mistakes wchich will teach you how to miss them in the future.
I think the most important option is to have a balance between meticulousness and imagination. These two styles are not so different that they can't exist at the same time, but I think it's an ongoing struggle to find a happy medium. With that being said, I feel that it is important to prevent as many mistakes as possible by being careful to proofread anything before it gets sent out. Being meticulous should not take away from innovative solutions though.
Mistakes in production when you can impact millions of users is definitely a NO NO. So I will go with that one.
Meticulousness so as not to make mistakes
Both. Innovative solutions presented badly will be seen as bad solutions.
'Good enough is never good enough'.
Now I would like to recall Einstein: "Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited, whereas imagination embraces the entire world, stimulating progress, giving birth to evolution. It is, strictly speaking, a real factor in scientific research". Just like him, we never have fear of get wrong. |
