I am a Political and Social artist, and a Teacher and Illustrator. I take my work very seriously, but also have a sense of humor about art and my lifestyle. I have balanced a career in art and a career in social services in my community. I live by one main quote" The un-examined life is not worth living".

Professional artist and teacher who has been blessed many times. I have been able to thrive after a series of circumstances that often leave other's withered and distraught. I have been given the gift of a second chance in life.
Was a Freak goth dude. Met Holly changed my life. Went to art school and learned very little. Read books and learned more. Crawled my way from little gaming artist to third tier gaming artist didn't get paid squat. Got pissed and taught self web design. Now I'm like the god of web design for creatives. I win. Ha ha. Take that you gaming art directors. Ha ha ha.
I grew up in Fond du Lac WI. I am married and have 3 children ages 7, 4 and 1. I have always been very interested in art since I can remember. I knew from a very young age I also wanted to be a teacher and follow in my Dad's footsteps. That is how I ended up teaching art and not just making it for myself.
Air Force brat, only child who traveled the world before the age of 12. I had wonderful, intelligent loving parents who taught me just about everything I needed to know about life, who were proud of what I accomplished. Still trying to find myself and figure out what I want to do when I grow up.
I was born in Virginia's beautiful Shenandoah Valley. I had a pretty normal childhood aside from a few incidents. I attended University of the Arts, and I left with a BFA in Illustration. I now live in Beacon, NY where I have the luxury of working in my jammies.
I graduated from Stanford University in 1988 and worked as a journalist for a time after that. When my third child was small I went to art school at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco and graduated with a degree in Illustration. I have been illustrating ever since (books, readers, visual development for computer games, artwork for libraries and children's hospitals and clinics).
Self-taught artist hailing from Atlanta, Georgia. I earned my BFA about four years ago and began a full-time career in art and design after a hiatus. I spent a few years working for a consulting firm and eventually traded the corporate gig for my own freelance business. I've never been happier doing what I love and it has been the best career move ever!
Started drawing spiders at the age of 4.
Studied Graphic Information Design BA (hons) at Falmouth College of Arts 92-96.
Moved to London and had various full time jobs from 96 - 2004 in various areas of the design industry - publishing, CD Rom design, website design, brand etc.
Went freelance in 2004.
