I am a Political and Social artist, and a Teacher and Illustrator. I take my work very seriously, but also have a sense of humor about art and my lifestyle. I have balanced a career in art and a career in social services in my community. I live by one main quote" The un-examined life is not worth living".

Was a Freak goth dude. Met Holly changed my life. Went to art school and learned very little. Read books and learned more. I grew up in Fond du Lac WI. I am married and have 3 children ages 7, 4 and 1. I have always been very interested in art since I can remember. I knew from a very young age I also wanted to be a teacher and follow in my Dad's footsteps. That is how I ended up teaching art and not just making it for myself.

Air Force brat, only child who traveled the world before the age of 12. I had wonderful, intelligent loving parents who taught me just about everything I needed to know about life, who were proud of what I accomplished. Still trying to find myself and figure out what I want to do when I grow up.

I was born in Virginia's beautiful Shenandoah Valley. I had a pretty normal childhood aside from a few incidents. I attended University of the Arts, and I left with a BFA in Illustration. I now live in Beacon, NY where I have the luxury of working in my jammies.

I graduated from Stanford University in 1988 and worked as a journalist for a time after that. When my third child was small I went to art school at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco and graduated with a degree in Illustration. I have been illustrating ever since (books, readers, visual development for computer games, artwork for libraries and children's hospitals and clinics).

Self-taught artist hailing from Atlanta, Georgia. I earned my BFA about four years ago and began a full-time career in art and design after a hiatus. I spent a few years working for a consulting firm and eventually traded the corporate gig for my own freelance business. I've never been happier doing what I love and it has been the best career move ever!
