Torn between writing and drawing, on having graduated from a Graphics Course in 1993, I had a vivid dream about a vampire called Skaler. In pursuit of writing and illustrating his story as a novel, I became an actor, then a Radio Producer, and then a Court Reporter. Skaler is now written, and I developed my own style to illustrate it.

Whle at RISD, I studied classical drawing and painting techniques, illustration, puppetry, as well as theater/costume design & music at Brown University. I have been working as a freelance illustrator, "fiddlinist", puppeteer and instructor ever since.
