Born 1954 to Leeba Melmed and Charles Heft
Studied painting with Robert Brackman starting at age 12.
Studied at Rhode Island School of Design in the 1970's.
Moved to New York City 1977 and have been working and living here ever since.
Brenda Hofreiter is US artist and a 4th generation Floridian who has been painting professionally and winning awards since 1999. She is a Signature Member if IPAP, AIS, and PAF, and a member of OPA, SMI and LAI.
A few years after high school I completed a cartooning and illustrating diploma. I undertook further studies in art and graphic design then worked for several years at a print house. Now involved in freelance illustration.
Tutored at a very young age.
Youngest person ever to be granted in Julian Ashton artschool in Sydney (age 13).
Won every art competition entered.
Graduated from Sydney University College of the Arts at age 20.
Born in London of Australian parents, now living in Australia with husband and two children. I have been involved in a selection of exhibitions both in Sydney and the USA as well as gaining signature membership to the Artists For Conservation – host to internationally prominent wildlife artists.
I was born in Norway and went ad drawing then cartooning school. Worked as a designer and illustrator for several years. Then studied art in UK. Have only had exebitions online not live. Its about time!!
I was born in Wellington New Zealand. I studied art and design for 5 years and don't have a certificate to show for it (excellent grades however). I ran out of money, could not afford to study and further so started selling my work online for a living...
My career highlight has been to do 2 covers for TIME magazine – both were mixed media paintings. And I have had a children’s book published this year entitled “Betty Bilby saves Easter!”

Aileen loves to paint and has done since childhood. She has painted quite a few VIP and also been a guest on TV a number of times, also included in some magazine publications. The Aileen Mcleod Art Award recently launched at the school where she taught art/craft. To paint is to live and Aileen loves to paint.
I got a Journalism degree, worked as an art photographer for 10 years, and then taught myself to paint.
I grew up moving from place to place but am originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I now live with my husband, daughter (6), son (1) and kitty in Seattle, WA. I received my B.A. from the University of Washington in 2001 and have painted free-lance for private collectors and gallery shows ever since.
I have worked with illustration and design in various forms since 1994, computer games, e-learning, webb and print. Year 2002 I started my own buisness as freelance illustrator. And since then my work have been seen on greeting cards, pillows, match-boxes, T-shirts, bookillustrations and magazine articles.
I have been an artist for almost 50 years starting with making and exhibiting photographs in 1958. In the early 1970's I got an MFA in photography and expanded my photo exhibition career. In the middle 1980's I discovered digital imaging and this has evolved into my current passion and focus for exhibitions. |
