Born in september1986 in Bucharest,Romania.Discovered by my art teacher in 5th grade, when i made a verry good portrait of a colegue, then go to art highschool, art university and so on and still discovering and practicing..

My first encounter with art was when my parents put a pencil in my hand after they found that I had stripped a wall clear of wallpaper, because I had nothing better to do. Ever since then I've drawn everything from flowers to monsters. I cherish my ability to pull abstract concepts out of my head. The more I can learn, the better.
I was born, raised and live in a small city in SK. Canada with my hubby and fur-kid "Buddy". I have been happily married for over 36 yrs. and we have five Wonderful grown up children. Arts and Crafts have been a part of my life since I was a small child. My age...54 yrs young!!
I have always drawn things that people liked.
I have no formal education other than high school art classes.
I trained by watching a tattoo artist learn from the beginning of his training, but never picked up a tattoo machine until I felt I had learned enough by observing.
I then practiced on myself to develop my skills and felt comfortable enough to be able to create for someone else.
I am a self-taught artist with 20+ years experience. Murals and Interior Decorating started off as a passionate hobby of mine painting for myself, friends and family. As word of mouth got around, so did demand. I decided to make a living at what I love to do. In 2002, I launched Kim Hansen Interiors, now known as Custom Murals and Designs. My work has been showcased throughout Colorado, Florida and Arizona.
Art school from 17 to 24, then professional artist, then mother of 2 (at the moment, I'm all of that). For some time I did experimental things (improvised singing etc) and artistic research.
I am a happily married, mother of two grown children We have a wonderful 5 year old grandson and live in a quiet town in Ontario, Canada
Born a gifted artist with a passion for drawing. Received a college education in Fine Arts and developed remarkable artistic skills. Began to explore many fields in the arts such as cartooning, graphic designing, motion graphics, and animation. Found a niche in the digital designing world.
I am from Maine and find a never-ending abundance of inspiration in this beautiful, odd place. There is a run-away train in my head responsible for all my best ideas and worst bouts of self-loathing and ADD. When I have an vision there is almost nothing that can stop me from creating it but I find those moments too few and far between. I am on a constant quest to find the perfect collaborator who has the focus and patience I often lack.
Was a military brat growing up, born and lived mostly overseas. Raised two wonderful human beings who've given me grandchildren and I love them all dearly. I've learned what's like to have a lot, lose a lot and live in the moment. I've reached middle-age and am quite happy.
I've been a makeup artist for 10 years. I adore everything there is to makeup!
After the birth of my first child, i needed a creative outlet to do at home, that didnt require a model, actor, etc. So i started paper crafting.
Since then i started my own stamp company and teach certified copic classes.
I am a self taught Artist, but was inspired by someone very special who helped me to find more within myself than I realized ever existed. I would have never dreamed I could create such beautiful art, but I am now doing it and it has now become my passion. |
