What is your message?
I guess my message would be:
Art can (and should) be fun. It can tell a story. It doesn't have to have some deep meaning. I don't think all art should require degrees in psychology, philosophy and art history to be appreciated and understood. Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy the serious stuff, but it's just not my cup of tea when it comes to the art I create. Sometimes it's OK for it to just be a pretty picture.
I just want people to enjoy my art or at least understand the idea I’ve presented.
I believe this is my way to tell the world everything I have experienced in my life.
To be inside of "the box" is to be inside of "the box", but to stand outside is to see the world in a very different perspective.
If you have the need to create just go ahead and do it. Don't think about it too much. Allow yourself to try, experiment and make mistakes. Try to learn from others with more experience but find your own ways. Remember that you are unique and no else can say what you have to say better than yourself.
My humor comes to me because God gave me this strange set of contact lenses and this is how I see life. When times are good we like to laugh. When times are bad (like now) we really need to laugh.
Laughter lightens the soul and keeps us human. It also can give us a truth we can handle.

Haha, I think a lot of people take art or their art way too seriously. What is my message? How about to just enjoy the ride and create for the fun of it.
My message is simply this, "Follow your Heart",-- which links up nicely to Joseph Campbell's quote, "Follow your Bliss", but it extends into all parts of a person's life being that you can usually trust your own heart too lead you (where passion sometimes takes us into territory that doesn't necessarily match what actions we would take if we were not being DRIVEN to a particular 'end result'.)
Passion is beautiful- but people have killed in a fit of passion, or have been driven insane as they pursue their passion. (that's not necessarily a 'Good Thing')
Your heart will take care of you- and usually it will watch out for others as well
(leaving you a clean bill health to receive 'good payback' from).
-Combine the 2 (passion and heart)-to acheive the best 'end result'.
Thus sayeth the Artguy.
Paint what YOU want, not work to sell.
I get more enjoyment and feel I'm saying something when I do my spiritual work and dream imagery. These themes keep me going and I'm always excited to see what's on the horizon.
I am sure for other artists it's other themes, so be open to their ideas as well, but above all, enjoy what you are doing and make the most of what your work says to you and to others by pushing content, design and technique.
The function of the artist is to provide what life does not. - Tom Robbins
I have no message....hopefully just cool designs!
I want people to take notice and respond to the incredible designs found in nature.
I explore the boundaries of what is considered beautiful and valuable and stretch those as far as I can. I love creating a dialogue between the artwork and viewer. I also like to smudge the lines between fine art and illustration.
Have fun with it! Although I have room in me for serious drawings, I usually look for the humor in any subject.
We are an advocate for restoring the American Dream for all in the world, knowing only that local value added economies work. Work and labor are the real standards for the value of money and transations. Economies based on making money on money instead of making things do not work. The House of Bush, Clinton and Greenspan has fallen based on false economies. In our art, we try to portray this message and our Locked Out Workers bearing their Cross artwork demonstrates this.
