What is your message?
My love of drawing and painting is aligned with my deep respect and passion for the natural world. All the love within me is poured into my drawings and that love is reciprocated by the connection I feel to an animal's soul and intelligence – its perfection. My mission as an artist is to communicate that love so that we can see the perfection of our own souls: to honour all living things as we live in peace, harmony and unity. Through my art I intend to give something back to the animals, as every animal deserves the up most honour, respect and ample space in which to live; they are our teaches and our guides.
Use evil against evil to make choises between evils to choises between goods! Its benifitial and naturally clean to do so.
To uplift your soul and the place in which you dwell!
Love your work!
Accept each new day as a message to be enjoyed. Gifts not demonstrated are but a myth.
My "message" is simply to take the viewer to another place, a place that is soothing, meditative, and to some degree, hopeful.
My message to people or the audience would be to wake up to the world and become a part of the change you want to see, to turn off the TV and switch on their mind. There are so many problems that could be helped if people were more aware of their strength and importance of their voice and that of their local community.
paint pin-ups because I love all things beautiful and enjoy the sense of playful sensuality I found in the old pin-up masters' works such as Elvgren. I love nothing better than a good giggle and eyebrow raise when looking at an artwork and I strive to achieve the same result in my works.
I think it is wonderful to be a woman and celebrate my femininity through my artwork. I believe that what makes a woman beautiful lies not only on the outside, but must also radiate from the inside. Therefore, I find my favorite subjects to paint are those women whose distinct personalities I already know or can easily see in their photos. Often it is not your run of the mill super model that elicits a physical or emotional response but rather, the woman you see in your local coffee shop. The mere fact that they are "real" and attainable makes their image more seductive and personal. All of the women that I paint, including myself, are women who truly exist in the world (looking their best of course). They are soft and supple, opinionated and bitchy, inviting and compassionate, strong and smart. Most of all, they are not victims but instead, proud and unashamed of their sexuality. To me, that is the ultimate form of feminism. | | |
Well, the message is different depending on what client I have and what they want to have expressed. I like to make series and themes of a subject.
Have fun with art!
