What is your message?

Whohub

Do your best, leave a legacy.

to show people life and what behind the life..to make a massege between people and the higher soul ...to make a straight line between earth and the sky..to show our humanity

We are surrounded with glorious creations. Peace can come from finding our relationship with all that surrounds us. My peace comes through visually organizing shapes and colors I see.

I wish to quietly communicate, to point to what I see, and allow the viewer to respond.

If a painting communicates joy to others, I have succeded.

When dedication meets inspiration, the result has a value to the creator. If another person appreciates the result, then that's a bonus but not the 'be all and end all'. I like what i produce and that's all that matters to me really.

I try to show the human and animal form as a complex piece with thought to who it is and what it represents and how I see it and understand it.

Enjoy and have fun…

I have no message. As a matter of fact, it is mostly the materials that guide my brush. I paint a lot with my fingers. Painting is a sensual activity whet you touch colors directly. It is also an act of discovering forms as you go, driven really by the materials you are using. I try to suggest things to the viewer. Art has two creators: the author and the public.

If we could step outside of ourselves long enough to stand back and see what marvelous creatures we are and with such capacity, we could love more freely. We need to appreciate more the life and energy of our world.

I want to tell a story.
I am using personal symbols to tell the story of thing which I care.
They come from nature and the relationahip between God/people/things/and me.

No message. I just love to sculpt. I have this in me and it needs to be let out.

MY MESSAGE IS THAT BEAUTY AND ART CAN GO FORWARD HUMAN NATURE.

AND ART IS THE ONLY TRUE.

Look at the world, it's more beautiful than you thought. Believe what's there instead of what people say is there. Enjoy anything good in life, savor every moment of happiness or pleasure. Be real, don't let other people's opinions control you. Freedom is an internal decision, not something given you by others.

If you are broke or homeless, unemployed or underemployed, don't let people put you down. Don't believe the myth that you can't paint or sing or write. All these things are skills people learn. No one expects someone to become a rocket scientist by just having the Talent and leaping into it to produce good rockets from scratch.

It's the same way with good paintings. Learn how and then your style is inevitable -- it's the summation of what you like, who you are, what you enjoy painting and care about enough to paint.

Believe the people who say you can do it and disbelieve anyone who says you're not good enough. Everyone is good enough to be a beginner.

I'm still a beginner and I've been doing this for over 40 years. I'll be a beginner and a student all my life because it's fun learning.

Paint the pictures you want on your own walls. Whatever you do well will be popular with the people who like that subject, but you can make yourself miserable creating a specialty in something you hate and turn the joyful freedom of an arts career into the misery of a typical unpleasant job that way.

An essay in one of my art books said "Fill a sketchbook every month." If you do that, you will inevitably become a good artist. However many sketchbooks it takes, you'll get very good and reach the point other people give you good money for drawings and paintings a lot faster than if you take it slower.

I want to open it up. I want to make the skills available to anyone who has the interest to follow them -- and those who don't have the interest, it's more honest to say "I'm not interested in learning" than to say "I can't do it, I have no talent." I have talent for music too, but I don't like the practice or enjoy music as much so I'm not a musician. I could learn, I chose to write and draw instead.

I don't have one. And I don't trust people who do.

To use my art to share both 'my story' as well as 'your story'. To express visually the intimate struggle between freedom of self and self-control, expression and containment.

allow art to raise your consciousness by going to the place of wonder when looking at it. This is a place beyond words, beyond concepts...a place where one's soiul awakens, grows.
