What is the most important thing you have learned from experience?
Some people are idiots. Others are saints. You will never know until the project is complete.
That life doesn't always gives you what you want, but what you need.
Never loose focus even when things are tough. Literally; what doesn't kill you, makes you stronger.
Hard work pays off.
Far too many things has life taught me. Impossible to define the singularly most important lesson. Although empathy for others would rank up there.
Patience and perseverance!

Do what you like to do. Do it with passion.
