 | What is your specialty as a stylist? fashion, salon, image, objects...? My Specialty is in the Salon Beauty Industry. I am fully versed in all color systems of all the major Color Manufacturers such as Redken, Wella, Goldwell.
My HairColoring, Cutting & Styling techniques are always current and working the latest trends.
I have expertise in Salon Management, Salon Space Design & Function and Salon Systems. |

 | In what style or trend do you classify yourself? My main style is contemporary. |
 | What are your clients like? My clients are from all walks of life. They range from Ceo's all the way to children. |
 | How did you begin to develop your talent? Have you possesed it since you were a child? I began to develop my talent at the age of 21. |
 | What importance has professional training had on your career? I believe professional training in an Integral part of any profession. I feel it is the base of my Career. |
 | When did you first realize you could make a living this way? Immediately. |
 | What people or experiences have taught you the most and helped you to arrive where you are? The Stylists at my first Salon I worked at as an apprentice. |
 | What is your concept of beauty? Why does it change so much from one culture to another, or from one era to another? My concept of beauty is SIMPLICITY. I don't believe it changes through time I believe that peoples perceptions change depending on the current influences around them. |
 | Do you need to love what you do, or does professionalism suffice? Do what you LOVE. Love what you DO. There is no other substitute in life. |
 | What do you do when a client requests something that you believe is not suitable for him/her? I always try and work with a clients wants. If something they suggest is not suitable to their hair type then I explain why and what I feel in my opinion would suit them better. |
 | Besides advising clients, do you also educate them? Educating your clients is a sure fire why to keeping them especially if they do decide to try someone else. They know if the other hairdresser is not as educated as you. |
 | Isn't there a cult of vanity in premeditated publicity and fashion poses? Is there a Cult of Vanity? In my opinion everything anyone does is strickly for one reason and one reason only. That reason is TO LOOK GOOD. Is this a Cult, my answer is NO, it's just human nature.
A Cult is something you join that goes against the majority of humans at the time believe is not normal behaviour. |
 | Your definition of "glamour"? "GLAMOUR" When I think of Glamour I think of the word Amour which is the French word for Love. I think when a Woman is Glamourous I think facinating, excitingand attractive. Sophia Loren, Marilyn Monroe, Gina lollobrigida, Jane Mansfield. |
 | Please name three well-known personalities whose look you admire, and three who need to urgently change their image. I admire, Nicole Kidman, Halle Berry, Rene Russo.

 | Being surrounded by a different style can cause a person to feel different. Can such a feeling transform a person? People can only be transformed when they want to be transformed. |
 | What trends do you see gaining momentum? I see the trend of softer hairstlyes a little bit of soft curl or bend in the hair. Also in color the trend is softer natural colors with highlights and lowlights. |
 | Make a prediction: how long will the fashion of piercing and tattoos last? I think the FASHION of piercing and tattoos is done. The shock value has worn off and the flock of sheep has expired. The only people doing it now is the ones that just want it. |
 | What magazines or websites do you follow to keep up to date? What other types of cultural inputs serve as sources of inspiration for you? I buy about $200.00 a month in magazines for my Salon everything from Hair Fashion, Clothes Fashions, Home Fashions, Cars , Food, Travel and Vanity Fair. I go to artists studios when open to the public, Busy Resturants, Trendy Clothing Stores, Travel |
 | I would like to be more discerning when I buy clothes or furniture. What do you recommend I do to acquire this ability? To be more discerning you need to be in the know. To be IN THE KNOW you have to be out shopping, looking, reading, web surfing, you need to do research. |
