| What was it that made you create your blog? On what date did you start it? I wanted to bring my thought out for everyone to read. My inspiration is Mrs. Rashmi Prabha ji - a great poetess of my time. I started this blog in year 2010. |
| What blogging system have you adopted and why? I blog on blogspot.com through my laptop mostly and some times through any desktop readily available. |
| How many visits a day do you get? What type of comments do you receive? Approximate average visits per day is 15-20 these days. I receive encouraging comments and some times views of my readers on the topics that I write. |
| How has 'having a blog' contributed to your life? Having a blog has made me write more and more. It has aroused the reader and writer in me and I now think that I must contribute something good for the society through my blog. |
| Have you created relationships with other bloggers or readers of your blog? Yes. Many fellow bloggers and readers are now my online friend and guide. |
| How often do you post? Does regular posting of your blog require a lot of effort on your part? I usually post 2-3 times in a month. Regular posting does require a lot of effort on my part by way of time involved. I do not get much time from my bussy schedule to be regular on my blog. |
| Does blogging bring in income for you? Can one make a living from posting? Blogging has not brought any material income for me. People say one can make a living from posting blogs but I seriously doubt. It is not easy and would definitely require a lot of effort and tricks to lure in readers/visitors on the blog. Until one has a very grand following and readership of 10s of thousand page hits per day, one is not going to make a living out of blogging is what I feel. |
| How do you promote your blog? I promote my blog through Facebook, Twitter and other social networking sites besides email to my friends. |
| How would you define your readers? Have you got a faithful audience? My readers are mostly from my field. Yes. |
| Are there any blogs you follow daily or regularly? No. I donot get much time to follow any blog in particular on a regular basis. However, whenever I get time I do go to http://lifeteacheseverything.blogspot.com and http://sinapseblog.com |
| Have you ever received gifts for blogging about your opinion of products or services? What do you think of bloggers who do that? No. Their readers might be having high regard for them. |
| How do you see your blog evolving in the future? My blog would evolve as a good educating and entertaining blog in future. |
| What advice would you give to someone who wishes to begin a blog? If you have something good to share please start blogging. It is ine of the best way of service to society. |
