| What types of clients do you have? Why do they come to you and what can you offer them? People come to me when they need information about holistic health and green living. In addition to writing, I also teach community classes on these topics. |
| Can the mind cause or cure illness? What evidence do you have on the matter? Yes, the mind is important at all levels of health. There is a great deal of literature about this, and I've also seen it in clients and in myself. The mind-body connection is an important part of a holistic approach to health. |
| Do you recommend Vitamins and nutritional supplements? Do you believe their benefits have been proven? Yes, and yes! There is a great deal of science on the benefits of vitamins and herbal remedies. The trick is finding the ones that work for each individual, and finding good quality sources. |
| How do you asses the potential or the risks of genetic engineering on nutrition and human health? Most of the evidence I've seen is negative. In the case of a new technology like this, we should be using the precautionary principle and NOT use it until its safety is established. |
