POLITICS
How do you define your political position? What is the ideology that inspires it? I view myself as having no political position. I feel the United States political system is corrupt, and is making life illegal. I feel lifes neccesities should be free and the internet should go uncontrolled..
What matters more in deciding your vote: the party, the candidate, or the ideas? None of that. I would never vote for a candidate. Anyone who runs for a political seat is power hungry, motivated by greed and is seeking attention. With the technology we have today, let the people speak for themselves. If people can vote for American Idol or Americas Got Talent they can make decisions as a nation. We don't need a representative for the "majority"
Do you think religion has a place in politics? Absolutely not.
Should parties that want to eliminate democracy be allowed to participate in democratic elections? Its already happened.
Are Right and Left obsolete concepts? Obviously not, there is a horrible partisan divide.
Why does hunger continue to exist in the world? Is this the result of a deliberate policy? Greed to put it simply. Corporations are buying everything. If they don't make money it isn't gonna happen. Also Countries are spending most of their money on "defense" budgets, while they neglect their, own people
What type of information should a government be able to legally maintain on about its citizens? Crminal Background, welfare and thats all they need to know.
What political figures in recent history do you admire most? The founding fathers, Jimmy Carter, J.F.K
Two-party systems are on the rise: is this good for politics? I don't think it is good. Two is too close to one, and if there is one political party, that is when the Nation becomes a fascist state. People should be able to identify as whatever they want, there shouldn't just be two options. Labels are dumb anyways.
Does a state have the right to attack or intervene in another country that has not attacked said state, if the country has committed grave injustices or crimes against humanity? No. Not unless it is brought before other nations and approved, and even then so it must be to protect lives. But in this day in age, the line between an act of humanity and an act of greed is very blurry.... True intention is hard to determine.
Are we witnessing the end of the American empire? The end of the American Empire began long ago, when greed outgrew patriotism and humanity. We used to be a nation of humanity, but crooks got in power.
Why did the economies of communist countries fail? Because the Western world didn't like it, and made it fall. EVERY SINGLE communist country had Embargoes that were endorsed by the U.S.A, handed down to them by the United Nations. It made it very hard for those governments to trade and function. Communism as an idea works as long as the intentions are good, but again, it is very easy for corrupt politicians to get in power and abuse said power.
Do you actively or economically collaborate with any social organization, NGO, etc.? I am very active in the Occupy movement, but it is purely as logistical support. I am Anonymous at heart. I have no ties to any organization, and I believe everyone should think for themselves. Organizations tend to get like minded people into a group, labeled and then use that group for their own agenda's. Thats the great thing about the Occupy Movement. You can have your own Ideals, be of whatever political party but still be fighting for the goal of taking our country back. But simply put, no organization.
Do you believe in any of the conspiracy theories regarding 9-11? I haven't paid any attention to them really. Regardless of who did it, it was used as an excuse to wage atleast two ILLEGAL wars, and that is what really matters.
Should consensual offenses such as drug use or prostitution be legalized? Yeah... see my answer on whether Homosexuals should have the same rights as heterosexuals....
Should homosexual couples have the same right to adopt as heterosexual couples? I believe in free will, with morals. As long as it doesn't harm people, the people should be able to do whatever they want. Straight Christian people have anal sex, they are Hypocrites. Everyone is a hypocrite. It's nature. But let people do what they want behind closed doors. If they go to hell that's their own fault.
What significant changes do you think Obama can bring about along his presidential term? NONE. He is making this country worse. He made promises, and he quite frankly failed to deliver. There will be changes, but it isn't going to be anything positive.
