I Am Not an Artist, But Rather a Purveyor Of Culture

How is an idea born? For you, what is inspiration?
I see People Out My Window. I see Objects Elastic and Loud I see Color Possibilities in 3 Dimensions.
What role does technology play in your creative process?
Tech is the Future. Man is the Future. Man Creates Tech.
What is art?
I Don't Know. Not Sure I Will.
When do you get your best ideas?
In My Sleeping Head is When I Get my Ideas.
How do you evaluate whether an idea is good or not?
I Write and Sketch and Talk and Do and Constantly Evaluate the Process.
Three creative ideas that you would have liked to have created?
I Would Like to Explore Outer Space. I Would Like to Create the Physicality of a 3 Dimensional Color. I Would Like the Oppurtunity to Live in the Future Alongside Everyone Else.
When and how did you begin to see yourself as an artist?
I started thinking about ideas that nobody around me was thinking about. Nobody understood what I wanted to accomplish. I was writing and drawing things that didn't make common ideas fluid. I think when I first saw myself thinking contrary processes, I did not know anyone had broken rules before.
Why do so many artists and creators have such volatile personalities?
These People Are Mental. Many of These Who are Not Are in the Future.
Do you consider yourself postmodern?
No.
How should a work of art be evaluated?
Write, Sketch, Talk, Listen.
Must an artist reinvent him/herself everyday?
Yes.
Which artists do you admire and how do they influence your work?
The Inventors of Clothes Pins, Envalopes, Cellular Technologists, and the Architects of the Burj Dubai and Skidmore Owings & Merril.
What do you think about public funding for the arts?
Not Enough. Step it Up, USA
Is art necessary?
No, Art is Not Necessary, But, We Would Be in a Difficult World if There Were no Art and Only Design
Does it pain you to let go of a piece you have sold?
No.
Is a work of art purchased, or is it better said, that it is the artist who is bought?
Depends on the Artist and the Work Within the Climate.
In art, there is no guide. How do you know what the next step is?
You Must Be A Visionary.
How do you feel about the fact that the pieces exhibited in contemporary art museums are often of artists already deceased?
LOVE. IT.
What role have the figures of art dealer, gallery owners, representatives, and intermediaries in general played in your career?
Some Large, Some Small.
What types of jobs do you usually do?
I am Very Social.
Which of your jobs or tasks do you most enjoy?
Feeling, Moving, Talking, Seeing. In That Order.
Do you personally collect any items?
I Do Collect Many Many Things. Dead Lightbulbs, Paintings with Honesty, Shoes, Translucency.
