As far as my education goes, i've been pretty much self taught. What I learn from reading books, blogs and forums I go practice out in the field. I think you can learn the basics from books etc. but to truly learn aspects of photography you must be constantly shooting

My favorite type of photography is landscape. I love capturing sun rises and sunsets. The colors are always amazing.

What type of preparation do you do before undertaking the photo session?
I usually go and scout the location to see which time has the best light. I make sure I have all the gear needed to capture the shot etc.
Do you normally photograph with a purpose already in mind, or do you let yourself go with the flow?
A little bit of both. Some times I have a purpose and other times I just let the moment take me where it wants to. Some great photos are the ones that are unplanned
