MUSIC
What do you do? What is your musical specialty?
acoustic pop rock
Do you work alone or in a group? If in a group, who are the others you work with?
Mike, Josh, Luke, Gabe, Cecil and other special guests
Is there a web address where one can listen, see, or read some of your work?
How did you begin making music? Who introduced you?
I began playing the drums really young in the year 1995 for 10 years along with the guitar. Then i decided last year to dedicate myself to vocal/strings only
What was your musical education?
i went to Musical school for 2 years then i quitted and bought everything i could see about voval techniques and guitar lessons and also web teachers and i taught myself the rest!
When did you realise that making music could be a way of life for you?
It's a way of peace of mind for me. See, we all have jobs and schedules and unfortunetely cant live off of music.
I love playing the guitar with anyone who invites me to but i still have a 9 to 5 regular job and so do the other members!
What is your creative process?
There's no such thing with us. Sometimes i cant even look at the guitar and look at the book we keep with the chords for the songs but other times itīs like a rush and it comes like an adrenaline rush and we play all weekend and we want even more. Our private studio is in Barrie at Mike's and so from there he sends us stuff to work on and vice-versa.
When do you have your most lucid moments, in the morning or night?
Night, for sure
Have you ever awoken with a melody created from your dreams?
Pieces of them!
How do you know when a song is finished or needs no more changes?
when i listen to it for the first time after a lot of work and i like it !
How did you discover your creative territory? How would you describe it?
My mom gave me a piano when i was a kid in junior high because my fingers were too long LOL! I didnt like that at that time. I started writing poetries e poems at 12. Never stopped!
When i was 15 i was enrolled into a Music School for drums classes for 2 years in the middle of the reemerging of punk/grunge ! I was a grunge kid for years. Then a gothic and wrote gothic poetries. Later i decided to just sing alternative/progressive rock and i had 2 procedures in 2007 and 2008 and i should've had another in 2009 for nodes in my throat. So i changed my sound and i worked with a vocal coach for a while and came back now calmer(laghters)
What part of your job is your least favourite?
when you step onto the stage and have to play the first song LOL
How often do you practice?
Every other day
How do you feel right before going out on stage?
Shaking from top to bottom, heart racing, legs trembling, all sorts of anxiety simptoms. Come on Billy Joe feels same!
Which musicians or groups have been inspiring to your career?
Holy, i've been wearing so many vessels but :
For grunge : Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Mudhoney, Sonic Youth, Screaming Trees
For Gothic: Nightwish & Evanescence
For NOW: Michelle Branch, Jessica Harp, Tyler Hilton, Ashley Monroe, Terra Naomi, Maroon5 and many Canadian Artists as some are my friends.
List three songs that are key to your life.
Starway to Heaven - LZ
Rape me -Nirvana
Mercedes Benz -JJ
What should be done to stop piracy?
More strict legislations to cause tough penalties cause we spend lots to produce an album
What type of music do you detest?
Melodies(with all due respect) i dont like to listen to what to you down. I like to listen to what makes you think and take action
What time did you get up this morning?
at 10am. Musicians dont like getting up early. We sort of lose sense of things

without a doubt : Tyler Hilton and Michelle Branch
What advice would you give to someone starting out in the business?
Make sure your not going to stop at the first obstacle because there are many ! Make sure you have the right people around you (band members and producers) and money in your pocket. Usually first album is independent !
