Describe your current equipment: cameras, lenses, computers, accessories... Full studio, office, digital darkroom, and darkroom equipted with all necessary equiptment.
What software and plug-ins do you use to retouch and manage your photos? Expertly trained in Photoshop among other Adobe products.
Which past masters of photography do you most admire? Horst P. Horst is my favorite photographer.
Are technology and digital retouching reducing the gap between professionals and amateurs? Yes, it makes it very hard for an uneducated consumer's eye to know if they are hiring a capable photographer. Consumers should be sure to ensure that the photographer they selct has been formally educated.
When should one use film, and when should one use digital? I can admit that I am fighting digital kicking and screaming for the most part. I do shoot digital for websites, weddings, portraits, etc. For advertising and fashion I like to shoot film and scan to didgital. You need to have digital media in the end in this day and age but, film still far surpasses what digital can do if you know exactly how far you can stretch film to the edge of it's capabilities.
