| What made you interested in design? I have always appreciated good design. As a young teen, I began to help local non-profits by creating brochures and flyers. After years of designing for family and friends, I decided to try my luck at making a business out of my passion. So I opened Katopia Design and have enjoyed every minute of it! |
| How would you define your design style? I lean towards more clean/modern design; however I love to sink my teeth into any project. It's fun to create a design that not only looks good, but is also functional. |
| Shapes, color, concept: where do you usually begin when conceiving a design? I begin every single design project with one question: who is the target audience? Whether it's a logo, a website, a brochure... whatever the project may be, it needs to speak directly to the target audience or it's just not going to work. Once that question is answered the rest will fall into place. |
| Can you see yourself in this field twenty years from now? Most definitely! How many people get to do something they love? I feel very fortunate and want to say thank you to all my clients for giving me the opportunity to do the work that I love. |

INTERNET
| What kind of projects do you usually undertake? I can do anything from logos to print design to web design. I think that I am probably most contacted about creating websites because businesses are realizing that it is a must-have in this day and age. |
MARKETING
| What is your stance as a marketing professional? What are you good at? What differentiates you from others? What sets me apart is my personal approach to each project. I start from scratch with each client to create a fully customized design to meet their needs and the needs of their customers. There is nothing more powerful than that. |
