My family was really musical, and I got into in when I was about 5 years old
What was your musical education?
Piano, violin, viola, singing lessons - plus after school singing lessons, loads! I learned to read music at about 3 years old...

As soon as I could talk! Well...really when I was about 10 and started performing as a career.
What is your creative process?
Watching Britney's/Christina's videos, getting ideas, trying to make ideas my own...
When do you have your most lucid moments, in the morning or night?
Definately the night. I'm a total nightowl
Have you ever awoken with a melody created from your dreams?
Doesn't really happen with what I do - but I do write my own songs - yep - they come to me mostly in the shower!
How do you know when a song is finished or needs no more changes?
When I look at it the next day and am still as excited about it as when I first wrote it...
What part of your job is your least favourite?
Putting up and packing up the PA system...and driving to gigs.
How often do you practice?
Every day.
How do you feel right before going out on stage?
Excited. I never get nervous anymore, only when the stakes are REALLY high!
Which musicians or groups have been inspiring to your career?
All artists! I'm a total ecletic.

I'm a Slave 4 U (first dance I learned completely)
Low - Flo Rida (best song EVER written to dance to)
Sing Sing Sing - Glenn Miller (best big band...EVER)
What should be done to stop piracy?
Nothing. It's all about the music, man! No - seriously, well - make music more accessible. Stop releasing songs at different times in different countries. Stop suing the downloaders and go after the people who make these sites in the first place...
What type of music do you detest?
Heavy Metal and Reggae
What time did you get up this morning?
1pm
How do you sell yourself? What has been your experience with record companies and representatives?
Just CONSTANTLY barragging people with my information.
What other things have you done to make a living?
I'm really lucky, I've never had to do anything else!
Have you ever played on the street or in the subway? How much did you collect each day?
God no. Ick.
Who would you play with, without a doubt?
Elvis, man. :) And maybe Bill Clinton on the sax. He's hot. :)
What advice would you give to someone starting out in the business?
Never give up. EVER. Even when you are broke and poor and have nothing to eat - don't give up and keep hassling people. And use the internet to promote yourself.
