| What made you interested in design? I think, that to do beautiful things which are stored at you in a head it's always interesting |
| What has been your professional career path? I started as web-designer in the small company in 2005, and now I'm art-director |
| Have you received any awards for your work in the field of design? not yet |
| What is your motivation? What makes you get up in the mornings? I like to do smth. I think it's better motivation. I love to develop something new and to use modern technologies and modern style. Very often i use something old |
| How would you define your design style? it's loyalty style with futuristic components |
| How do you promote and move your work? usually my portfolio promotes my works. And, of course, it's positive feedbacks from my clients |
| In which new areas would you like to experiment? i think it will be industrial design |
| Shapes, color, concept: where do you usually begin when conceiving a design? i think concept comes first, then shapes and finally the colour |
| What are your sources for documentation and to generate ideas? anything what i can see anywhere, anytime. Also something old that were created before |
| Which festivals or awards in your field do you find most interesting? there are a lot |
| What is your favourite type of customer? I love those clients who understand what they want and can explain their opinion |
| To a certain point, is copying justifiable? i make research and create my own concept. just research |
| List some things you dislike seeing in design. i dislike when the web site doesn't have resizable content, also i hate a lot of flashing modules on the page. Brightness colours, and worse typography |
| Do you believe the newer generations are better at designing? Not necessarily. If someone is talent, he/she will makes it better, but very often i see the contrary |
| With which type of client would you decline in working for? Clients who want to hire a designer but instead think they are a better designer then you |
| How do you calculate budgets for a design project? usually, i separate the project into parts and give the price to each one |
| Which professionals in your field -contemporary or past- do you most admire? There are so man |
| Which software applications do you most utilize in your work? Almost all packages of Adobe Suite |
| Up to what point do your designs reflect your personality? As and in my life i love details, and i spend a lot of time to make realism, i think it reflects my personality |
| How do you distinguish passing fads from mainstays in new trends? Everyone has own taste. And if you like some thing, you will use it. I don't spend time for scan it |
| If you weren't a designer, what would you be doing? I would be the programmer, I graduated as programmer |
| At this moment, what would be your dream job or project? I've some ideas, which contain the answer on this question. BUT, i can't tell you about it :) |
| Can you see yourself in this field twenty years from now? why not? we will have new technologies, new culture, which won't allow to die to design and it will be actually via 20-30-40 years |
