Effrosyni Tsakiri [lilithians]
What do you do? How do you define yourself as an artist?
I paint to express the complexity of my mind. I believe that this complexity refers to the complexity of the world, the complex perception of it, in particular. I aim to produce images open in various interpretations, in the same manner that literature allow each reader to create his personal vision of a story. The means to express "my complexity" are mainly Geometry and Juxtaposition. Esher is one of my favorite artists and the novel "Invisible Cities" of Italo Calvino is my current inspiration.
What is your message?
