| What was it that made you create your blog? On what date did you start it? I created my Blog "Learn How To Blog Site" to share with others how easy blogging is. You can easily set up a free blog with wordpress, or you can buy a Domain name with GoDaddy and register a blog with hostgator. I also have been blogging for three years so I offer free coaching calls for six months for all those that purchase the "Learn How To Blog Program". I started the Learn How To Blog Site in January 2011. |
| What blogging system have you adopted and why? The Blogging system I have adopted is with a program called "Learn How To Blog" from Sean Rasmussen. After blogging for three years and not making any money, I started watching what Sean Rasmussen was doing, reading and following his blogs. I joined his Year Of The Affiliate Program late last year, and then his Lern How To Blog program as soon as it became available.
Since January 2011 I have been making money with my five blogs. I adopted his system because I trust what he teaches and it does work. |
| How many visits a day do you get? What type of comments do you receive? Between 50-100 visits per blog per day. The Comments I get are positive comments that I reply to. The comments that I do not believe relate to my blogging topic I delete. |
| How has 'having a blog' contributed to your life? Having a blog has changed our whole life!! We can connect with other like minded people and share our passion. We are getting our bus ready to travel around Australia and share our journey at New Life On The Road.com
Since I have set up my blogs with SEO techniques I connect with so many like minded people day after day. It is my whole life and I love it :) |
| Have you created relationships with other bloggers or readers of your blog? Yes - I speak with readers of my blogs online on Facebook, over the phone, and on skype. I have even meet some of them face to face. I love connecting with my readers, and they love connecting with me :) |
| How often do you post? Does regular posting of your blog require a lot of effort on your part? I post at least once a week. Since I have been blogging for about three years and now use Learn How To Blog Program I know how to blog with SEO techniques so it only takes me about 15 minutes from start to finish to complete a blog post. Each of my five blogs are now easy to maintain. |
| Does blogging bring in income for you? Can one make a living from posting? Yes it does now. It did not bring us any income until I joined Year of the Affiliate program and Learn How To Blog Site. Since I have put into place blogging hints and tips from the program then Yes you can make a living from posting. |
| How do you promote your blog? With Social Media. I have fan pages set up for my blogs, and twitter pages set up. I also find other blog post that have the same title as what I am writing about and comment on at least 10 other blogs each time I post.
I also use Youtube as a channel to promote my blogs. With other SEO techniques I promote my five blogs - I also use PingFM. |
| How would you define your readers? Have you got a faithful audience? My readers are really important to my blog posts. Without my readers I would not have a blog nor a full time job from home. I love my audience and respect what they have to say. When ever my readers leave a comment on my blog post I reply back. Its almost like having best friends talk to each other. |
| Have you ever received gifts for blogging about your opinion of products or services? What do you think of bloggers who do that? I have received feedback and I have also received a free blog template for one of my blog headers. I believe that if you give then you will receive so I give a lot of my free information about my blogging tips/hints and love receiving what the universe is ready to give me. |
| How do you see your blog evolving in the future? I see blogs becoming more popular than websites in the future. I also believe that Youtube channels play a huge hand into blogs....if you have a blog then you need to also have vlogs. My blogs are going to keep me growing with the internet Marketing world, and provide the lifestyle for our family to achieve our dreams:) |
| What advice would you give to someone who wishes to begin a blog? If there is one thing that I could share with another blogger is this - find your passion in life. Find your passion and the money will come to you.
Another tip I would love to share - Never Ever Give Up No Matter What. If you feel like that you are not succeeding, give it one more minute, then one more hour, then one more day and before you know it you have a blog that is successful and that others love reading. Connect, Stay, Keep Going, Dream, Believe, Achieve, Success. Its that simple! |
