| What was it that made you create your blog? On what date did you start it? 2008 started blogging to get stuff off my chest which in turn helps everyone from whatever walk of life. |
| What blogging system have you adopted and why? Blogger. No advertisements, and I can still post to the world for free. |
| How many visits a day do you get? What type of comments do you receive? My visits vary greatly. I can be surprised some days just what visitors I get. Just see my blog at http://lizsdeafblog.blogspot.co.uk/ for further deatils. |
| How has 'having a blog' contributed to your life? Knowing I'm not alone with how I feel. Finding support and friends, as well as giving support myself. |
| Have you created relationships with other bloggers or readers of your blog? Yes. A great friend is Sarah at Speak Up Librarian, and know for years. I have a few other friends I can confide in too, and one who is like a Mother figure to me and gave me supportive advice is Xpressive Handz. |
| How often do you post? Does regular posting of your blog require a lot of effort on your part? I used to try and post at least once a month originally, but I find I post more often than that. Even when I think I don't have time with new commintments, I still manage to keep it up. |
| Does blogging bring in income for you? Can one make a living from posting? I can choose to make income if I want. But I don't. I choose pleasure and not profit when writing Liz's Deaf Blog. |
| How do you promote your blog? I used to promote using FB and Twitter originally and submitting to search engines. Now I just use Twitter to promote new posts or to communicate with friends. Thats all I do now. |
| How would you define your readers? Have you got a faithful audience? I certainly have faithful readers, whether they participate or not in actual posts, as well as friends. |

| Have you ever received gifts for blogging about your opinion of products or services? What do you think of bloggers who do that? I have on one occasion. It was very nice although I don't expect this. |
| How do you see your blog evolving in the future? Just new post update, and page updates when I do. Nothing more than I do already. |
| What advice would you give to someone who wishes to begin a blog? If you are passionate about something and want to write about it, then go for it. You do need to be passionate and dedicated to do this. |
