personify machinery. find abstract ways of shooting ordinary objects

whatever is there at the time I am feeling creative.

depends. Usually grab my bag and hope the camera has some charge in it

yes but it is also creating 2 forms of artist. ones who can use a camera and those that can use a computer

How does one develop the instinct of knowing when to press the shutter release button?
you just know
When should one use film, and when should one use digital?
Film is so much more exciting and it also teaches you to not be to snap happy. I like to use film 1/10 times just to ground me and use something different.
Does photography have the recognition that it should have in contemporary art museums?
yes. It is very accessible now so picking good photography must be difficult
