What do you think of Wikileaks? Is it wrong what they do? Or do they keep governments honest?

It is my understanding that their original goal was to bring attention to human rights abuses, woman's rights abuses, and human trafficking. These are all issues that deserve international attention and solutions. However, releasing military secrets does not address these issues. Putting forth information that puts the lives of soldiers in danger or creates a national security issue is irresponsible and inappropriate. Something that started out doing good now looks suspiciously like a vendetta against America. The recent allegations of retributive actions by Wikileaks against companies that have blocked them makes their agenda clear and invalidates their mission.  11 Dec 10

Should we boycott BP? Isn't the company doing enough?

Boycotting any company is seldom effective. In light of BP's continued efforts to manage the oil spill, I would discourage a boycott. If they were significantly impacted by loss of revenue, they would be unable to direct resources to the clean up of the oil spill. Running them out of business will not help solve the problem.  13 May 10
