What is your blog address? What subjects do you deal with?

I deal with a wide variety of topics.. this includes personal topics as well as topics pertaining to general trends in the country.. When ever I see something not going right, I write a blog on that.. URL: manhardeepsingh.blogspot.in

What was it that made you create your blog? On what date did you start it?

hmmm.. I was feeling very lonely.. and then i decided to speak to the world rather than the people around me.. The experience was nice.. I was appreciated by my friends too.. I dont remember the date, but it was is August 2011.. Actually, I was inspired by a friend's blog.. So I thought of giving it a try.. Believe me, Blogging is fun..

What blogging system have you adopted and why?

I adopted the Blogspot system.. It is easy to use for newbies.. Moreover, i was exposed to only a couple of blogging systems.. I chose blogspot..

How many visits a day do you get? What type of comments do you receive?

well.. Usually, on an average I receive around 50 visits a day from various countries.. I moderate my comments so that the blog doesnt get messy.. the comments are positive.. however, blogs on sensitive issues get strong opposing comments too..

How has 'having a blog' contributed to your life?

It has contributed largely on what I am doing today.. I never knew that I was such a good writer.. I discovered this talent of mine through blogging.. Today, I earn by writing blogs on diverse subjects for clients from USA and Ireland..

Have you created relationships with other bloggers or readers of your blog?

No.. Actually, I havent figured that out.. however, I do read other blogs and interact with bloggers.. But, no bonding as such..

How often do you post? Does regular posting of your blog require a lot of effort on your part?

Well.. I used to post blogs quite frequently till February.. then i got caught up with exams and stuff.. So, not so regular now.. Hoping to get back to personal blogging soon..

Does blogging bring in income for you? Can one make a living from posting?

Yes.. It does.. I have employers from USA and Ireland and they pay me pretty well.. However, it cannot make a living.. the pay scales are not so high.. But, may be this can happen in the future.. Actually, I work on a temporary basis, so cant give a perfect answer to this question..

How do you promote your blog?

I promote my blog on Facebook and Twitter.. Although this doesnt attract many people, I'm still satisfied by the response..

How would you define your readers? Have you got a faithful audience?

Absolutely, I have a certain group of people who check my blog on a regular basis.. The readers are intellectual and give good remarks to the content on my blog.. Although there have been instances where my opinion has been questioned by readers.. It is a good learning experience..

Are there any blogs you follow daily or regularly?

No.. I just browse through random blogs and read the interesting ones.. no particular likes..

Have you ever received gifts for blogging about your opinion of products or services? What do you think of bloggers who do that?

I have not received any gifts so far.. But the best gift is appreciation of the readers.. And I've got lot of it.. Well.. I feel that bloggers should not be biased.. they shall have an honest opinion about things..

How do you see your blog evolving in the future?

I do not wish my blog to become very famous nor do I want it to be dormant.. I am happy as long as my faithful readers continue to read the blog and associate it with their lives..

What advice would you give to someone who wishes to begin a blog?

For anyone who wants to begin blogging the only advise I would like to give is- be honest in everything you write.. Dont try to lure readers by writing good stuff.. do not be diplomatic.. Its your blog and you have the right to have anything on it.. Happy blogging..
