BLOGGING
| What is your blog address? What subjects do you deal with? www.MikeyMcFly.com, my favorite topic to discuss and promote is music of various genres. I also share my personal experiences to keep the site interesting. |
| What was it that made you create your blog? On what date did you start it? I remember seeing various websites that promoted music and I wanted to talk about the music that I enjoyed. I started the site back in December of 2007 and since then I've developed my site's identity. When someone logs on to MikeyMcFly.com they are gaining access to my thoughts which is what blogging should be about. |
| What blogging system have you adopted and why? Blogger.com and it was the first blog site that I was introduced to and I like using it, I wish it had more functionality but I'm utilizing the site's full potential. |
| How many visits a day do you get? What type of comments do you receive? I receive close to 250 hits per day, and the comments range from regular compliments to reactions to the topic at hand. |
| How has 'having a blog' contributed to your life? Having a blog has been an enlightening experience. Blogging has allowed me to connect with so many different kinds of artists and people in general. I was told by a few individuals that a few of my posts were inspirational which is always a plus. Everyday that I post something new, I have the opportunity to introduce my readers to a world that may have never been aware and that means the world to me. |
| Have you created relationships with other bloggers or readers of your blog? Yes, I have quite a few associates that I communicate with daily all thanks to blogging. I hope to work with them all to help propel websites that are actually promoting originality. The blogosphere is saturated with blogs that are the same, especially sites that are entertainment based. I connect with the readers through twitter and I even ask their opinion on upcoming topics and their honest opinions on the site |
| How often do you post? Does regular posting of your blog require a lot of effort on your part? I post everyday and it used to require a lot of energy BUT I try my best to update at least once a day, I refuse to let my readers down |
| How do you promote your blog? Twitter, Globalgrind.com, and facebook, digg.com |
| How do you see your blog evolving in the future? I see my blog becoming one of the best sites EVER!!!! |
