What is your specialty? Production, direction, something else?
Animation, Compositing, Special FX, Visual FX Recent productions: France. - Rahan. - A Kind of Magic. The Netherlands. - Naar de getver. - Ferry's Tale, the story of a drunkard. Videoclips, short films, feature films, commercials, art.

Stopped my site because it became to quickly outdated. Gonna put some more recent work online soon.
How did you begin in this field? Who introduced you to it?
My mind actually, from young age interested in art, animation and film. Followed 2 schools: - graphic design - Animation / Media design This all leaded me now to Paris, France where I'm still working in the field.
Which have been the most symbolic works of your career?
Dunno. All productions are quite different from each other.
Do you work for a client, for the audience, or for your own creative adventure?
Depends on the projects, Actually all three of them.
What should a good script have in order to interest you?
It should be catchy. Funny even.
Are you the type who instantly knows when a take is good, or one who does another three takes to be safe?
Depends on the production, for video; better safe than sorry. For animation, it has to be one take.
How interested are you in image technologies such as robotized cameras, special effects, etc.?
Very, If it helps the film and it's narration.
Which has been your experience with conflicts between direction and production?
Every production has his moments of conflicts. Deadlines and budget are the main reasons mostly of the time.
Do you enjoy post-production, or do you prefer to leave that in the hands of other professionals?
Mostly working in the post-production.
Do you eat popcorn at the movies?
Sometimes.
What do you think of public subsidies for cinema?
Could be an idea.
Do you like to have a second unit or do you prefer to control every still of a production?
Creative input is good. So I can answer second unit.
Do you change the dialogue after selecting the actors in order to adapt the characters to them?
Sometimes.
Which do you like more, large budget or small independent productions?
Large budget.
Do you like to experiment with new technology immediately or do you prefer to wait for it to develop?
When there is time, why not.
Is the future of cinema the Internet? Mobile phones?
What is nicer than see things on the big screen. Not a fan of eye-pinching presentations.
Does the concept of interactive video stir up creative thoughts for you, or does it leave you cold?
Could be nice for theatre.
