ILLUSTRATION
 | Is there a web address where we can see some of your work? |
 | What past or present day illustrators do you admire most? I love Marko Djurdjevic and Jon Foster's works. I think they're simply perfect!
When I'll be able to draw like them, I'll offer a drink to all my friends... |
 | What was your favorite comic book as a child? Are you joking? I still love comic books. Without them I wouldn't have become an artist.
However, in the matter of our question, when I was a child "The Amazing Spider-man" was my favourite reading. Now I think every comic book is a little exemple of great art. |
 | Do you have a particular style, or does it vary a lot? I prefer realistic style but I can also draw in cartoon style according to circumstances. However I usually let pass some time between an illustration done with the first style and another done with the second one, so my future works will not be contaminated. |
 | What do you do when a client simply says "I don't like it"? Thankfully I haven't yet met this kind of clients up till now, but someone who asked to modify the illustration in order to make it similar to his idea. In that case I talk with the client trying to understand what he really wants. It's very important work in harness with him. |
 | What part of your work do you do on paper and what part digitally? Time ago after drew the sketch on paper I finished the work digitally. Now I'm realizing my works completely with my computer. |
 | What advice do you have for someone who likes to draw and would like to make a living from it? P&P: Passion and Patience, it's very hard become an appreciated artist. You have also to stay down to earth because humilty is the best secret weapon for trying to grow artistically.
Oh... and don't chill yourself if someone reject your works but profit by it and try to do better. |
