Interview with:Natsuki Kishi [natsukidoll]
MODELING
 | When did you start modeling? What kind of jobs do you usually do? I started modeling when I was 18 years old, I entered " Miss Japan " and got selected as one of candidates.
Since I've just entered an university, my parents didn't allow me to participate and I had to give up the dream for the prize.
Lucky for me, a model agency asked me to work as a model, this was the start of modeling work.
I worked for a few advertising jobs, private modeling, short films, magazine work, and website work. But I decided to take a few years to change the fields, to find some other possibilities for my future.
Since I've started modeling again, artistic photography/modeling are my fields I would like to build onto the experience I have already obtained. |
| Is your 'book' online? Can you provide a link to it? Regarding reall "Books" I'm afraid but I hesitate to show you them.
Because they are all gravure magazines which I've worked for long time ago, and I've completely change my style/fields to work onto.
I've gotten an offer to publish a photograph collection, hopefully by next year and provide a link here soon...

| What method did you follow to get the expression or the attitude that they were seeking? Not to think about person who has the camera. Working with personal feelings/thoughts towards the photographer shouldn't be had, it works very badly to the results.
What I have to see is not the photographer, people who will see the photos later, so just enjoy the theme and concept. |
| Do you pose nude? Yes, no, it depends? Officially " NO "
At that time I barely do it.
But when I found a photographer whom I really would love to work with and he/she wanted it, I would. |
| Would you like to work behind the camera? Have you ever tried? YES, but every time I try, I have to know it's better to be in front of the camera more than being behind of it.
I really love both of them, but the photos I take will be hard to say " Nice! ", just taking pictures what caught my eyes in my daily life is good enough, not for work. |
| When you see the result, is it usually as you imagined? " No, never ever "
They are always beyond my expectation.
I appreciate all of photographers, MUA, hair stylists, everyone whom I have worked with. |
| Name three male and female models whose work you admire. Actually " No one "...It may be " too many to name "...
I saw many models' works and admire them and adore the works, but in reality, no one has influenced on me to work as a model.
It might sound like I'm very arrogant but I don't want to copy or follow anyone's style.

| What places have you traveled to for work? So far, I've worked in New York, L.A, Berlin and some other cities in Germany, Indonesia(Bali), Linz, France, and of course, many cities in Japan.
I love traveling!! :) |
