For how long have you done photography? How did you begin?

My first semi-pro camera was Finepix S9600, bought it from my manager on 2007. My first DSLR bought in late 2010. I falling in love in photography when I was work in the magazine in 2004.

What has been your education as a photographer?

I am a self-taught, most of the photography knowledge learn from the internet.

What is your favourite type of photography?

What do you try to express through your photography?

my mood, feelings, emptiness, tranquility, peacefully and beauty of the nature

How do you choose your subjects?

Usually I try to find the most unique foreground before composing image.

What type of preparation do you do before undertaking the photo session?

prepare my gear, scout the location, read forecast and tide chart.

Do you normally photograph with a purpose already in mind, or do you let yourself go with the flow?

Sometimes I already brought the idea, mostly go with the flow as you can't predict the weather

Canon, Nikon, Fuji, Sigma, Olympus, Sony, Pentax...which do you place your bets on and why?

I use canon, but I think Nikon produce a sharper result.

What software and plug-ins do you use to retouch and manage your photos?

Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom, Photomatix

What measures do you take to protect your work against Internet piracy?

Reducing size, and make it unable to download image when uploading to flickr

Are you a good salesperson of your work? In what should you improve?

Not sure, so far I just try to sell my image through online galleries

Are technology and digital retouching reducing the gap between professionals and amateurs?

Framing could bring the attention of the viewer right to your subject Composition hold a main strength in landscape photography, the first thing I must considered before I push the shutter

How does one develop the instinct of knowing when to press the shutter release button?
