 | What is your blog address? What subjects do you deal with? http://parasts.lv
I'm writing mostly about mobile apps (Android, iOS, Blackberry, Windows Phone), reviewing phones and tablets. |
| What was it that made you create your blog? On what date did you start it? I wanted to share my experience, opinion about some things i'm dealing daily and help people to understand, how smartphone/tablet can be helpful for everyone.
I started about 1,5 years ago (at october-december of 2010). |
| What blogging system have you adopted and why? Wordpress. It seemed best for me and easy to understand. |
| How many visits a day do you get? What type of comments do you receive? About 300 unique visitors per day.
There are no much comments, but they are good (not offtopic). |
| How has 'having a blog' contributed to your life? I learned some new things, for example, how to easier tell about complex things. And I'm learning all the time, because of reading a lot about this topic, that I'm writing. |
| Have you created relationships with other bloggers or readers of your blog? Yes. |
| How often do you post? Does regular posting of your blog require a lot of effort on your part? I'm posting on work days. About 1-3 posts per day. Yes, it takes some time to do it all. |
| Does blogging bring in income for you? Can one make a living from posting? Really small income. |
| How do you promote your blog? On social media. And that's all. |
| How would you define your readers? Have you got a faithful audience? Some small part are regular readers, some are not so regular, but quite big part is only coming from Google. |
| Are there any blogs you follow daily or regularly? Yes. Example - krizdabz.lv |
| Have you ever received gifts for blogging about your opinion of products or services? What do you think of bloggers who do that? Yes, but anyway it's my opinion and it's fair. |
| How do you see your blog evolving in the future? Becoming one of top blogs in Latvia about this topic, that i'm writing. Because topic is becoming more and more relevant for many people. As smarthone penetrationg continues to grow. |
| What advice would you give to someone who wishes to begin a blog? Write about topic you really are interested in. |
