 | For how long have you done photography? How did you begin? 32 years(14 years commercially). My mother placed me in a photography class when I was 8 years old. |

 | What is your favourite type of photography? Mix of portraiture with architectural |
 | What do you try to express through your photography? I always aim at telling stories with every image. |
 | How do you choose your subjects? The ones I choose, I select because of unsual features. I am defnitely never looking for the average. |

 | Do you normally photograph with a purpose already in mind, or do you let yourself go with the flow? Always with a purpose in mind. |
 | Canon, Nikon, Fuji, Sigma, Olympus, Sony, Pentax...which do you place your bets on and why? Canon....but my bets are never placed on the bow or the arrow, but the hunter. |

 | What measures do you take to protect your work against Internet piracy? None. I do not care about piracy. |
 | Are you a good salesperson of your work? In what should you improve? No. I should actually try it. |
 | Which past masters of photography do you most admire? Ansel Adams and Helmut Newton |
 | Are technology and digital retouching reducing the gap between professionals and amateurs? No. |
 | What is your team of habitual collaborators like? None habitual. |
 | With which other photographers do you normally team up with or do sessions with? None. |
 | Do you consider yourself more technical or more artistic? Artistic |
 | What have you learned about the art of framing and composition? Balance draws in the viewer. |
 | How does one develop the instinct of knowing when to press the shutter release button? You do not really need an instinct. Just do some pre-planning, and click the button as many times as you like. |
 | When should one use film, and when should one use digital? I personally use film when I have a very long time for pre-production. Other than that, I have recently(since 2005) started usuing digital. |
 | Does photography have the recognition that it should have in contemporary art museums? A considerable amount aong the places I frequent. |
 | Which websites for photographers do you frequently visit? None. |
 | Is there any particular technique that you could share? I like to do "Sebatiers" when I develop my own prints. But, again...my technique is my pre-planning sketching. |
