 | How did you begin making music? Who introduced you? started playing guitar when my dad bought me an electric guitar for my 13th birthday. then began writing songs shortly after that |
 | What was your musical education? taught myself |
 | When did you realise that making music could be a way of life for you? when i was 13 and i noticed how long my fingers were |
 | What is your creative process? varies, but usually i start by sitting at the computer and listening to music my friends make, then that inspires me to write something and i will sit around making a beat for a while then write a keyboard line over it. then layer everything. its all done in ableton mostly |
 | When do you have your most lucid moments, in the morning or night? night |
 | Have you ever awoken with a melody created from your dreams? dont think so i never remember my dreams |
 | How do you know when a song is finished or needs no more changes? when it all sounds full enough and all the tones im looking for are present. |
 | How did you discover your creative territory? How would you describe it? was always fascinated by electronic music and the process of making it but always wanted more raw tones or keyboard parts in the songs |
 | What part of your job is your least favourite? i dont have a job right now but i dont dislike anything about music other than packing and unpacking vehicles to and from shows |
 | How often do you practice? every day |
 | How do you feel right before going out on stage? always have butterflies but after the music starts they go away. |
 | Which musicians or groups have been inspiring to your career? all of my friends at this point...coolrunnings, yung life, walsh, a lot of older stuff from the 80s all the way up to cheesy electronic music in the 90s. lots of tears for fears and new order right now. |
