PERSONALITY

What hobbies have you got?

Being Canadian I love to watch and play ice hockey. My team is the Montreal Canadiennes. I have two guitars, one Norman acoustic and one Fender Stratocaster electric. I have three children who keep me busy now and then. I love to build Wordpress blogs and other websites and perform search engine optimization strategies. I love to read self-help books...don't ask why but I just love personal growth stuff. I love to watch tv and surf the internet and get involved in social networks.

Which actor would you like to be?

Tom Hanks

If you were sent to a deserted island, which book, CD and film would you take with you?

Book...probably the Bible for some reason. Probably because I would be so lonely and introspective. I cannot think of anything else off hand that would provide me more inner strength. CD would probably be AC DC Back in Black. For films, I would probably take the Forty year old virgin with Steve Carell.

How do you find the balance between working to live and living to work?

I try to always reflect at least once per year who I am; what makes me me and what makes me unique. I try to remember that working hard at work is good. But there is a time to retreat into ourselves and vacation and take time off. When I work too hard there is often external pressures; like it is not me chosing to work but a boss. I have to make hard choices and then move in a different direction. Always connect with your hobbies, passions and interests even when it is difficult. When work interferes with relationships it will almost definitely interfere with one's own self at some point.

What is the greatest loss you have had in your life?

My divorce. Everything changes. But with terrible changes and negative feelings bring about new choices, some out of necessity and other from new beginnings and new avenues for growth.

Of what are you an addict?

I probably surf the Internet way too much! I love to research and learn new things.
