 | What is your specialty? What subjects do you deal with? Any and all news concerning the military & Veterans affairs. I am a voice for the veterans although it may only be a small voice I get the information out to those who are in need of it. I have created the hashtag #honorthefallen, co founded RedShirt Fridays , created the #honorthefallen web paper which is updated weekly. My reporting to the social media networks ie;Facebook&Twitter has taken on a life of its own I have over 25 field correspondence located around the globe who send me direct feeds.I am currently working on a new project to help the veterans I have teamed up with the VFW on this new venture United for Veterans more needs to be done to bring to light the hardships many veterans are going through the way I see it they(which includes myself) made a deposit into our country by putting everything on the line for all of us but when it's time for them to make the withdraw the goverment ie;the Veterans Affairs sits on a compensation claim.The veteran and thier family have to suffer . Many have next to nothing cant pay the bills and have to get public assistance to feed thier families |

My current project that I am currently working on is United for Veterans. I have teamed up with the VFW on the project .This is a fundraising project to meet the urgent,unmet needs of America's veterans |

| What is "news"? News is information to be shared with all sectors of society so all can be keept up to date on our changing world events. |
| To you, what is objectivity? Reporting the facts and by facts I mean get the whole story not just one sides take on it .The most paramount thing about objectivity is to never,never report my own personal opinion on a subject |
| What is the best headline you have ever read? The retreat of Saddam Hussein's troops out of Kuait |
| What headline would you like to see printed one day in the newspaper? Let's see the world peace has been done the hunger one has been done hummm....

| Which paper do you buy on Sundays? Where do you read it? I get my local paper delivered to my house . Well I read it in my livingroom most times |
| Does freedom of expression end where the editorial line begins? Yes and no it's a fine grey line but this all goes back to objectivity & obligation to reporting the facts in an unbiased way |
| Do you feel that analytical and investigative journalism is being lost? somewhat |
| With a camera on every mobile phone, is every citizen becoming a correspondent? Yep it's a double edged sword and the world has become a much smaller place |
| How would you explain the boom of the tabloid press? Americans do not have a king or queen to worship so we turn to pop stars, movie stars , and professional athlets to worship upon there for we have the trolls of reporting the tabloid reporters they have no conscience what so ever invading a persons privacy to get a story bottem feeders at best |
| Will the paper press disappear? it's already happening |
| What are your thoughts of the free papers distributed in cities? keeps those who push the paper out employed and gives those who need it to get it its a good thing all the way around |
| Is there a motto or ethical principle that clarifies your decisions in moments of confusion? It's not really a motto but a phrase I use Dip'n'Dots it works for me |
| What advice would you give to someone who has just left university and wishes to start in the profession? Check all the facts do it once do it twice then check them again do not be afraid to report the truth and maintain your integrity it is what will keep you sane at the end of the day |
