Anything that's new. The clue is in the word.

Not getting involved. That means not voting if you are writing about politics and not clapping if you are writing about music.

Objectivity is just a discipline not a restriction on artistic freedom

There is that danger. This is certainly true of the trade press and b-to-b publishers. It's too expensive, you see.
With a camera on every mobile phone, is every citizen becoming a correspondent?
Why not. We just need more people on the subs' and picture editors' desks to filter out the dross.
How would you explain the boom of the tabloid press?
It's an easier size to handle in confined spaces

Not the blog alone, but the internet certainly is both in terms of gathering information and disseminating it.
Will the paper press disappear?
Possibly, but only if technology can come up with something trendy and portable enough

They look like the publishers are all former space salesmen

There are two rules
Rule 1: Don't make a mess
Rule 2: Clean it up

Get into broadcasting as soon as possible
