WRITING
 | What did you first read? How did you begin to write? Who were the first to read what you wrote? When I was younger I read The Hardy brothers. At the age 25 I started write scene plays with my brother Rodney. My father was the first to read my writings. |

 | What is your creative process like? What happens before sitting down to write? I come up with the big idea. In three sentences or less I should be able to describe my book. Then I outline the begining, middle and end. Finally I fill in the gaps. |
 | What type of reading inspires you to write? Clever crimes, fiction, |
 | What do you think are the basic ingredients of a story? There must be a begining, middle & end. Excellent character development. |
 | What voice do you find most to your liking: first person or third person? I try to write in first person. |
 | What well known writers do you admire most? Ian Fleming & Roland S. Jefferson |
 | What is required for a character to be believable? How do you create yours? My character must have a brain and real life experiences. Also, the character must be in the right environment to be believable |
 | Are you equally good at telling stories orally? Yes. The key is knowing your subject. It's like sales, and your selling your story to the listener. |
 | Deep down inside, who do you write for? I write for myself. |
 | Is writing a form of personal therapy? Are internal conflicts a creative force? No. I just have stories I think people will read. |
 | Does reader feed-back help you? Always. Sometimes I write so fast I might forget something. The feed-back helps me fill in the gaps. |
 | Do you participate in competitions? Have you received any awards? No. A story is a story. All stories are good stories. |
 | Do you share rough drafts of your writings with someone whose opinion you trust? Yes. It's a must. |
 | Do you believe you have already found "your voice" or is that something one is always searching for? I think I found my voice. Fiction & clever crime writing. |
 | What discipline do you impose on yourself regarding schedules, goals, etc.? My goal is one page a day. If I write more so be it. |
 | What do you surround yourself with in your work area in order to help your concentrate? The Internet. Sometimes I might research something as I write. I can be anywhere. |
 | Do you write on a computer? Do you print frequently? Do you correct on paper? What is your process? I write on a computer and make the corrections on paper. |

 | What has been your experience with publishers? I use LuLu.com (hardcover) and Wordclay.com (paperback). I love it. I have total control on everything. I even design my own cover! |
 | What are you working on now? Currency Conspiracy. Fiction, crime. |
 | What do you recommend I do with all those things I wrote years ago but have never been able to bring myself to show anyone? Share it with your friends and family first, rewrite and publish it. |
