I'm really interested in your opinions on this question: Is it true that Psychopaths are emotionless?
Can this really be so? The lack of empathy is different to the lack of emotions.
To be entirely emotionless, which myth has it, that would imply that they cannot feel any of the hundreds of different emotions, such as:
1. Anger
2. Rage
3. Contempt
4. Hate
5. Love (remember there is a fine line between love and hate)
6. Happiness
7. Sadness
8. Pride
The list can be expanded for quite awhile but, asides from love and a few others, most psychopaths feel hate, contempt and pride (which are emotions). A computer, which is emotionless, feels none of these!!!
Some psychopaths claim to feel hollow, which sounds like despair to me - which, again, is an emotion.
Thanks for reading, hopefully you didn't feel the emotion of irritability and boredom! At least my computer didn't!!

You are right, of course. Psychopaths have emotions:

They even have something called "cold empathy":

I'm a single grandfather to 3 small children ages 3,5,7. My 42 year old daughter is married to a 36 yr old Narcassist who has in the past fooled me with backward actions to cripple my credibility and then used his power over his family to separated and isolate me from my daughter and grandchildren for 4 years. Now that his busniess is faling my daughter has reached out and welcomed me back into her life. But she still cannot see he Narcissim. I walk on eggshells and try to avoid him but help her with busness advice and some money for kids private school. He acts friendly but needs to "bring me down verbaly and very subtaly every two months or so." Although I realize what he is doing and I tolerate it for the fear of loosing acces to the grandkids and daughter. Although he is becoming weeker by the month my daughter is also showing the stain of being overwhelmed by the financial problems and lack of security. He has not been able to find work in over a year and I do not challenge him but subtaly try to make my daughter aware of his "nothingness." My question and my quest is to obtain the right tools and the right path and direction to follow to help my daughter without painting myself out of the picture. I walk on eggshels, compliment him now and then and stay out of his sight less I squash him, enhansing his victimized status that he now enjoys. he is non violent, cerebral and a highly skilled manipulator. He does not take drugs, curse, drink or gamble. Nor is he overly religious except to use false modesty. Although he is clean cut, articulate and polished, he has not developed any formal carierr skills and does not seem to have a plan except enrole in Bartending school or a Jr. college to learn about no particular subject that might make him a living. Can you help me? Much gratitude if you can. Jack Murray ...

Your daughter is an adult. She has the right to make her own choices and commit her own mistakes. All you can and should do is share your point of view with her and refer her to relevant literature:
