DESIGN
 | What is your specialty? i am basically a logo designer, attracted towards creating things in a small pattern with a meaningful way towards a thought which reflect whole idea of client. creating identity for company and helping in launching campaign for them indoor and outdoor. |

| What made you interested in design? i was good among other pupils in my class in sketching and drawing pictures, having sense, love and passion for music and arts, i was attracted towards pictures and color combination, so i thought of choosing field of designing. |
| What has been your professional career path? in my designing, i have done my designing short course from a known institution in town, and right after that i started working in my professional life, |
| Have you received any awards for your work in the field of design? not kind of awards, but for me, a pat on back and appriciation infront of all members and many people for work is something which need nothing more like trophies or awards, its more then anything which people remember in their minds n memories for long long time. Also we are giving a proof by giving them best reselt in our job by handing them over what they need from us, so they remember us as the one who understand them as what they need. |
| What is your motivation? What makes you get up in the mornings? appriciation and honest thoughts without racism. |
| How would you define your design style? "Follow as few rules as possible. Break as many as possible." lol, i copied this line from earlier interviews list, as i guess i can describe myself n my feeling in this simple line. |
| How do you promote and move your work? by doing things for free (limited) to show people what i think in my way for them out of the normal routine work. with the work limited i wana say that its not all what goes for free, to some extent i always wana do things for people where i feel they need their expressions for them to project themselves in more better way, which i guess a very positive way to help ur self and to people as well for giving them a positive thought for their work n life. ;) |
| In which new areas would you like to experiment? 3rd dimension. creating things and in moving things, like animation and line work in 2d side. |
| Shapes, color, concept: where do you usually begin when conceiving a design? concept, its very easy for u to start with it coz unless u know what u need, u cant have idea how u need it, so u need its concept as well as how they thing gona be in a practical shape. |
| What are your sources for documentation and to generate ideas? having help from existing source available around me a well to start talk about that product with the concerned person in detail as to know what he/she need. |
| Which festivals or awards in your field do you find most interesting? i dont chases awards and things like that though it looks very nice to show others and to gain attention and prove that you are fine or better then others but to some extent in having positive thinking and moral building, its good to have those awards and shilds with me, which i am trying, but my focus is still same to show things n my ability in my work rather then giving proof by showing those awards. |
| What is your favourite type of customer? those who understand time and its value, who can give their time to sit next to us in telling properly about their requirements and appriciate efforts after the work. nice people are around but coz of tensions and other problems, many good people sometime unable to react in good manner which i guess is tolarable. |
| To a certain point, is copying justifiable? yes. |
| List some things you dislike seeing in design. things which make design complex while viewing it, mostly with colors and big or bad text placing and font selection. |
| Do you believe the newer generations are better at designing? i guess, yes they are but its all coz of revolution in all fields where we use to work more with our minds rather then hands. earlier people prefer to work with their hands/ manually which may be the only way for them to reach to what they access in their limited resources. |
| With which type of client would you decline in working for? client is to teach you all the time, so its never to say NO to anyone, but to give people a thought that they should not react where creative people are not comfortable in giving their best output for them, so they must not force us to work as they want(for always) but to the limit untill we want them to assist us where we feel good to work better for them. |
| How do you calculate budgets for a design project? by having a previous project record in front of us, as well as to know the client worth to get the margin according to effort require to finish that project. |
| Which professionals in your field -contemporary or past- do you most admire? my seniors, i always respect them coz till now there is not a single person who intentionally or unintentionally not gave me something which help me in learning new idea towards my style. the need is just to be positive and saying yes to what comes to you, coz everything is for a reason. ;) |
| Which software applications do you most utilize in your work? Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Corel Draw and then Adobe Page maker, all in their usage from most to least. |
| Up to what point do your designs reflect your personality? normally it reflects 60-70 % coz mostly it incledes a third person's idea or even more people involved in it, so its a mixture of a thing where i cant see my identity in it mostly. |
| How do you distinguish passing fads from mainstays in new trends? new styles and trends are good i guess, we all learn from them as what is the requirement these days, and where we need to upgrade ourselves. its good i guess. |
| If you weren't a designer, what would you be doing? social welfare, or my own business in glue making which i am intended to do very soon and the i think i will keep my designing along with it for my full time creation as free lancer. |
| At this moment, what would be your dream job or project? to do something with big icons in market, any brand or any big project where i atleast can participate to have more in my mind to go with new things. |
| Can you see yourself in this field twenty years from now? i cant say it right now, but i guess i can keep my self in touch till i am alive. |
| Which design resources online do you frequently visit? till now its not just one, but to find things i use GOOGLE more often,. |
