What do you do? How do you define yourself as an artist?

If to tell quickly who I is - I the artist. As whom I feel myself - the graphic artist who very much loves colour:)
I like fairy tales and interesting stories, lovely things and memoirs from the childhood, that I see round myself I is told in the works.

Your biography in four lines.

I was born and there lived in Ukraine (Poltava). Has received the higher art education at university and worked there two years, then has married and has moved to live to Latvia (Riga).
Now I work as the free artist...:)
It is possible in my life the next moving and changes in my life is expected.

Do you upload your work to the web? If so, where could we see it?

How is an idea born? For you, what is inspiration?

My stories live round me, their main thing to listen and have time to represent:)
Round us always is a lot of interesting, cheerful and mysterious, the main thing not to be lazy, and to work:)

What role does technology play in your creative process?

I like to work with a material:)
I like the present paints, the present paper, pencils and ink and it I cannot change.

When do you get your best ideas?

When my soul sings, then and many good ideas

How do you evaluate whether an idea is good or not?

Only personal experience and a gut feeling

Three creative ideas that you would have liked to have created?

I wish to draw illustrations in the favourite children's book.
I would like to write pictures the fairy tales for children.
And I wish to make the joint project with the good friend and the artist.

When and how did you begin to see yourself as an artist?

Itself at all I do not remember, I draw so for a long time.
The main thing to tell to my mum of many thanks, that could consider in me the small artist.

Why do so many artists and creators have such volatile personalities?

Probably, it is too susceptible and we will wound private world and artists.

Do you consider yourself postmodern?

I consider myself as the artist, and all the rest to solve already to critics.

How should a work of art be evaluated?

I do not set to myself such questions...

Must an artist reinvent him/herself everyday?

To reinvent?
I do not know, and to work and practise and be improved yes should.

Which artists do you admire and how do they influence your work?

I admire many artists, and I wish to allocate Marc Chagall... I like to fly...:)

What do you think about public funding for the arts?

Oh...
I will not answer this question...

And how it is possible without art???

Does it pain you to let go of a piece you have sold?

In this question I the supporter of what is better to present to that person to which it it is necessary, than to sell to that to whom it and it is not necessary.

Is a work of art purchased, or is it better said, that it is the artist who is bought?

Each goods have a buyer. Also that artist which is happy will find the grateful judge of its art.

In art, there is no guide. How do you know what the next step is?

Probably from that I and the artist because I know answers:)

How do you feel about the fact that the pieces exhibited in contemporary art museums are often of artists already deceased?

What role have the figures of art dealer, gallery owners, representatives, and intermediaries in general played in your career?

I work directly with the customer.

What types of jobs do you usually do?

I draw every day... It can be a small picture, there can be a big history consisting of parts, and there can be a painting on a wall:)

Which of your jobs or tasks do you most enjoy?

I like to imagine, think out and realise... Creation process

Do you personally collect any items?

That I collect all, it does not concern a serious collection, simply things or fragments from a life for memory which can tell an interesting story to you, and to me it to recollect:)

What advice would you give to those just beginning?

The main thing to overcome internal fear that, something can not turn out. Recollect yourself small as you drew and as you were not afraid of anything.
