 | What is your specialty? What applied knowledge and methods do you use in your work? I am engineering graduate from DIT , Dehradun and my area of specialization is Industrial & Production . It is a associate branch of Mechanical Engineering and I can do all whatever a Mechanical Engineer can do . Now the question arises that why IPE . Industrial Production is just a different approach taking in mind the production factors and Industrial relation and engineering concepts. Besides this I am enthusiastic and energetic enough to act with my skills of self initiative and eager to grow with the organization. |
| Can you provide a link to a site where we can get to know more about you or a project you are working on? Currently I am not working on any project. |
| How would you describe your professional strengths and weaknesses? I will describe my professional strength in engineering fundamentals of designing with software like CATIA , PRO-E , AutoCad and together with fundamentals of MS-office , Windows and basic C++ . As well I am looking for training which can boost my skills as a supervisor or engineer . I can deal with people and proceed with documents and technical writing as well I can handle telephone calls , e-mails and letter writings . I can deal with Banking proceedings as well legal proceedings . If you are talking about my weakness I would like to listen it from you and definitely like to improve myself for better future. |
| What did you play with as a child? Does your profession have anything to do with your childhood toys? When I was a child I used to make good drawings and when I was doing B.Tech my interest was toward Engineering Drawings. |
| What type of technology do you use to develop your work? I would like to depend on computer technology for better result and accuracy. |
| Do you think you are up to date in your sector? How do you keep up to date? As presently I am not involved in any specific project so I have to keep pace with almost all sectors so I use internet for keeping myself update. |
| Which is more important: meticulousness so as not to make mistakes or imagination to find innovative solutions? Mistakes are there but human being has a quality that he learn from his mistakes. |
| What do you do about that stupid "bug" you’ve been trying to work out for five hours with no progress? If a person truly working for hours than he must be keeping efforts but if there is no result of his work I will say that he must be focusing in a wrong direction so all he needs is advices and guidance . If he is enthusiastic about his work and its' culture he will definitely improve . |
| Which do you prefer: to deal with technical problems or problems with clients? I would like to deal with technical problems because I find it interesting to solve such problems as it involves innovation and chance to learn something new. |
| Do you need to be in good physical shape to do your work? Yes |
| Will you be one of the first to reserve a seat once space travel comes on the market? Why should be me the first . I would check for results and wait for my number . |
| Do you have a group of friends or colleagues that you share technological matters with? Yes I have friends in facebook where I continuously share my updates and discuss new ideas and of course problems. |
| What kind of job would you like to get via telephone today? Tel. - caller with advance software and super fast computer speed . |
| Aside from know-how, what qualities should an engineer have in order to be a successful professional? Engineer must try with different learning programs and increase his skills. |
| When evaluating an employee or collaborator, what importance do you give to courses and certifications? In India we prefer a specialist with special knowledge for specific program and anyone cannot try anywhere. |
| Are you are satisfied with your current challenges? Would you like to deal with more difficult problems? If so, what kind? No I am not satisfied with my current challenges . I would like to learn more and improve more with new technologies and programs . They should be related with Industrial and Production engineering . |
| Where do you see yourself in five years? I would like to be at some Managerial Post with more responsible duties. |
| What advice do you give those who want to work in your field? Engineering is a coherent stream and all have to work together . Together we can create magic but if I am alone it would be difficult to win . One can be jack of all trades but can be master of One . So different people from different background will work together to win. |
