WRITING
What did you first read? How did you begin to write? Who were the first to read what you wrote?
The first thing I can remember reading was the newspaper. I began writing poetry. I just picked up a pen and paper and starting writing. Then, I thought that every word had to rhyme. LOL! My mother was the first to read my work. We both didn't think that much of it. However, I fell in love with writing, especially after I started taking English courses. I had to write all the time then, and I loved it. It appeared that all my high school professors (including college) graded me so harshly. I thanked them later, one of them is actually the one who motivated me to push forward. I wrote a piece, and she just thought it was out of this world. LOL!
